I deserve a few trout slaps for this one, but I have a question about my own tutorial.

Obviously, I know how everything in it works, but I wrote the tutorial before Flash 8 was released, and Flash Player 8 doesn’t seem to want to keep the text highlighted. The text stays highlighted if you use the standalone player, but if it’s embedded in a browser, the text will only flash to being selected and then deselect itself.
I would really like to get this working again, so does anyone know what’s causing this and if/how it can be fixed?
