Hey all
I’m bit stuck here. I’ve been offered a permanent position here at Widex Denmark, where I’ve been sitting for over 2 years as student.
My areas have evolved from basic flash programming, to a 3-4 month lead programmer position, then flash programming/3D work, and now fully moved on to 3D Artist.
My boss grabbed a hold of me just 10 minutes ago, and asked me to come with a monthly salary estimate for monday 7 days. Trouble is, I’ve no clue what my own estimate would be… no position I can find covers my areas completely.
I’ll be in charge of:
3D scene setup, modeling, animation, lighting, materials, rendering to both print and digital, photoshop postproduction and still acting as an assistant flash programmer.
In the near future (hopefully our next campaign) I’ll be working with RealFlow and/or FumeFX. So those tools should also be in the mix… I’ve already covered VRay classes.
It just seems as a whoooole lotta stuff to cover. What would a position such as the one I’m offered here pay in your area?
