wow fire…I just noticed the water ripples in your footer…how long did that take?
I thought I was the only one who HADN’T noticed that yet ?

About three hours.
There is one ripple on the stage.
I gave all the ripples the ability to get bigger and fade out by adding an onEnterFrame function to the ripples using movieclip.prototype.blahblahblah…
A listener duplicates the first ripple and puts the duplicated ones to the current mouse-position. When they are duplicated they get the command to fade at the same time.
When a ripple has faded out it removes its own movieclip in order not to overcharge the CPU by too many onEnterFrame-actions.
Then I had to play a little with masks and swapDepth for making the mountains appear over the ripples …
