Sorry for not posting this in the regular sections, I just need a quick kick in the right direction with this.
We’ve got this streaming server set up some timne ago by people who’ve quit by now. And now that we actually need it again, no one knows a ■■■■ thing about it. The IT dept. who set it up has no clue what so ever as to how it actually works.
We DO however have access to the server, and can upload flv’s as we wish, in the (apparently) correct folder.
Now, the problem is, if we try and stream the darn files, we just get an idle player, nada happens. If we type in a random URL for it to load, we get an error message (of course)…
But a seemingly correct URL yields no error messages, but also no clip loading!?
I’ve been over the stuff a million times, and I just cannot see why it doesn’t work…
Anyone has any experience in this?
