Quick Question: Editing your Forum Sig

I’m trying to edit the signature for my forum posts. What I’d like to do is link a small 250 x 50 .jpg that I made to represent my signature. I clicked on the pic button to link the pic, but when I test it nothing showed up but the code. Would someone mind showing me how to do this? I’d really appreciate it!
