hi.
has anyone experienced any weirdness with loading external movies into a placeholder movie clip?
i’ve done it before and it’s worked fine. but now i’ve got movies of different dimensions and there is movement based on mouse position inside them, too.
the first one always loads fine and even though i clear what is in it before i load the next one, there always appears some strange offset from the mouse afterwards.
what crucial concept am i missing with using external movie clips and placeholders? what is quirky about using them that i’m just not aware of? what do i need to know? what am i just not getting?
any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
