So I get my haircut in this old fashioned barbers in Edinburgh city centre. There are a few similar to it in Edinburgh, but none in the city centre…it’s been the subject of a few newspaper articles and cuts the hair of a few scottish army regiments not to mention some british celebrities (Gavin Hastings, Peter Kay, Malcolm Rifkind MP)
Anyway I was in this morning and the owner told me to take a seat. I could hear him in the other room talking while I sat for ages waiting on him to come through and cut my hair. Anyway eventually he did and he said sorry I kept you waiting, I was talking to the producer…
I asked what producer?
He says that theres a tv company making a documentary on the barbers
I say really
He says yeah…want to be in it…
I say sure…
Weirdest visit to the barbers, I get my haircut, cast in a documentary and shake hands with a producer while I’m there…and all before half ten this morning
