Ragdoll physics

can anyone please help me on how you make ragdoll physics similar to that game Chuck http://www.rit.edu/~jhb4598/jblog/archives/000566.php3 I really want to learn some tips for linking symbols or gravity or just the any suggestios to maybe a actions script for a ragdoll, i dont know i looked all over the internet n i just cant seem to find any good help, thanks
