Hi all. First of all let me say that this is not my homework, I’m 33 years old. I’m a web developer for a living and I post on here all the time. Some of you may or may not have seen my posts in the past. Heck, I may have even answered a question for you before.
Anyway, I’m trying to calculate an equal distance between to points. You see, I’m building a fence at my house and I need to know where to set my fence posts at an equal distance. Here is the problem:
I have a distance between the 2 end posts of 95’. I need to calculate the distance between each of the end posts in order to place a post approximately every 6-8’ between the 2 end posts (equal distances). I don’t know how to calculate that distance. Also, if you could tell me how many posts I need, I’d appreciate it.
