Okay. I’m creating a tile based game in Flash. Everything is working fine. For some reason though, in the first map a random tile is displayed in the wrong frame and it has the wrong properties (you can walk on it, etc.). The thing is that when I trace everything it gives me the output I should be getting. For example, if I run trace(tileName._currentframe) it will give the frame it should be on, but it is actually being displayed on 24. It isn’t just running to the last frame either because I have 26 different tiles. If I leave that room and go back into it, the tile is in the correct frame and has the correct properties. Has anybody else ever experienced this problem? I’m using Flash MX.
