I had fixed this problem (with Scotty’s help) and got things to work, until i got more movies to load randomly! I now have 16 swfs that are supposed to load randomly into the main movie. The swfs (random ones) each contain 5 images (hi-res jpegs) that in turn are loaded dynamically. It was working perfectly when I had only 5 swfs. But now that I have 16, I have a suspicion the index.html is waiting for all the images of all the swfs to load (that is 16 x 5 = PHEW!!! all hi-res, mind you!!). Plus, i cannot get a preloader to show that the dynamic pics are loading. If I add a preloader to my random swfs (the 16), then i encounter problems with the individual movies! I used the tutorials on the kirupa forums for both, loading jpegs randomly (the photo gallery tutorial) as well as the loading random swfs!
I’m in the final stages of this project and have just run into a wall here! I know someone will help me ASAP!
