On the “Mouse Trail” tutorial, for Flash MX here on Kirupa, it doesn’t explain how to change the color of your text. Does the text have to stay black or is there a script to change it?
:h: You should change the text the same way you would change any other object’s color in Flash… select the text, and the choose the color out of the selector in your toolbar… if you want to dynamically change color, you could also add some AS.
Check the AS Dictionary. You can change the text format at will.
