Well, i just got acid 4.0 pro. is there a particular book that’s really good for learning it? making music and stuff? many of the books i’ve seen are acid 3.0…
i think there is some instructional videos somewhere… i think they were with the old company sonic foundry… there now with sony arent they?
i think a good way to learn is to experiment with the program… I use 3.0 occasionally, and am able to mix a few things, nothing too complicated… I just do what i can with it, and sometimes i stumble upon new features that are useful…
i was eyeballing ACID 4.0, because it has MIDI capabilities, and a dozen other upgrades from 3.0… Have you used 3.0, and if so, is it a great improvement??

Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 4.0…not…whatever you are talking about …:sure:
Majeye, I’ve never used acid 3 before…just bought 4 cause everyone i know recomanded it… I played around w/ it for a week, but it seems…too complicated…
nah not too complicated. pretty easy if you ask me, you can use simple things like envelope control and points or get into the plugins where you can apply special effects (like a wah wah or snipper effect… echo … reverb…), but its more about placement, as much as this can beat mix itself, its down to how you place samples together.
