i’m making a game and i need to getPixel in the character’s direction of movement without getting too far away from him. radial hittesting is easiest to get direction with, but it will bulge out too far from the character on the sides. rectangular can match the shape more closely, but can’t do direction. is there some way to combine both of these? i was thinking draw a line from the center of the character to the point on the circle around the character in the direction of movement then find where that line intersects the rectangle and test that point, but i’m not sure how to do it.
