I’m sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum. I thought I’d post it here as I’ve heard a few people speak of Red5 before and thought someone may be able to help 
I have recently downloaded Red5 8.0 which works and I have build a AS3 client that can connect successfully. However I can’t seem to get the Java side of things working, so that I can’t call methods from AS3. I was wondering (as the examples within red5 seem confusing at best) if someone could send me a completely working sample directory, with complete Java, FLA etc files of the Red5 “HOWTO-NewApplications” example - I would really appreciate it!!
I was also wondering that if I was to not use Apache ANT, would compiling the class to a JAR file be the only thing I need to do to get the whole thing running?
