this tutorial allows me to get quotes from a text file …
i thought it would be cool if i can format the quote so that it can get quotes from a website such as http://www.quotationspage.com/qotd.html. Of course, i am not looking to get any random quote from any random place on the website but from the “quotations of the day” page (website above) which gives 4 different quotations everyday …
i’d really appreciate it if someone could help out with getting quotes from an exterior source like this website by playing around with the code
so, in conclusion, when i press the “generate” button which generates a new random quote, instead of it getting this quote from a text file, how can i get a quote from the “quotations of the day” page from that website?
i need actionscript help …
