Hi,
Is there any way to use an image to appear on the squares in the repel effect file I’ve submitted?
I like to use some transparency on the image too.
Thank you
you could use masking
Well done stringy.
Is there any way to use transparency on the image like you can on fills? Like I have here.
just go to the library and edit the symbol
I knew that already. That is my page which if you refresh it, you’ll see 12 buttons(1 to 12 on the clock).
Let me see if I can explain it better. Say, I had an image (jpg, bmp, gif, etc.)and I wanted to make it 50% transparent. Is there any way of doing that?
Thank you.
Link?

This is what I’m trying to figure out:Say, I had an image (jpg, bmp, gif, etc.)and I wanted to make it 50% transparent. Is there any way of doing that?
just make it a movieclip and in the prop inspector set alpha to 50.
There you go stringy. Great. It must be my age messing with me.

sorry i cant really help you; i do have apachi but it was a hit/miss affair installing-i don
t know much about it.
Could i ask where you got the code for the grid movement-looks like something Keith Peters (Bit101) might have done; same variable names and same style.
stringy,
I certainly could if you explain to me what grid movement you are talking about.
