Resizing stage?

I am building a flash .flv player that loads the .flv file dynamically then allows the user to enter some html into their site that allows them to add the player in and make it a certain size. How would I resize the stage to be the size of the movie? Can it be done either through the html or actionscript? I read somewhere that as doesent allow for the actual stage to be resized. Thank you for your help in advance…
