Johnny Warren : Born in 1943 and died 61 on Saturday, 5:30pm at the age of 61, battling with cancer. Known as “Captain Socceroo”, he led the Australian soccer side to their only appearance in the World Cup of 1974. Much to his death, he left a legacy to Soccer Australia and now, he will get his dream, of game known to us as soccer, be finally called its true name around the world as Football in Australia. Footbal in Australia will become a great sport in the country, without Ray Chesterson’s no hope.
