Wired is running a sale roundup on Beatbot pool-cleaning robots, mostly a nudge that summer’s coming and the better models they’ve tested are discounted for a bit.

Cord management is the part that makes me quit using these things. If the Beatbots are truly cordless “charge-and-drop” and not some semi-wireless gimmick, the discount actually matters.
Cords on pool stuff feel like the “wired controller in 2026” of home gadgets lol. if it’s genuinely charge-and-drop and not “cordless* (dock cable sold separately)” then yeah the discount is actually tempting.
