Room scenes for visualizers

Where can I find a tutorial or additional info for creating a room visualizer where you can drag and drop floor patterns, wall colors etc… I need to learn the basic concepts in making something like this. Can anyone give me a breif synopsis of what is involved or required to make a visualizer flash application? =)
