This seems so basic but it’s been driving me crazy. How do you rotate a bitmap without it getting choppy? And I can’t rotate it in photoshop and then import the rotated image.

make sure your bitmap is smoothed. Depending on how you’re using your bitmap, this can be done through ActionScript or the library options in Flash.
