Safari/Netscape gap (with Flash)

[font=Arial]i set up a 100% by 100% table with three rows. the first row has a color, the last row has a different color, and the middle row has a background gradient graphic. that middle row also has a centered flash movie. the problem is, in safari and in netscape a huge gap is appearing between the second and third row, and the flash movie is shifting down out of its row! this occurs on hi resolutions, like 1280x1024. when i remove the flash movie, the tables are fine. any ideas how to fix this?
