Saving. jpg to localdisk

What I want to do is to allow the visitor to save a .jpg to his localdisk. The .jpg is not even in the flashmovie but on the server. Also the visitor should be able to select where he or she would like to save it. How can this be done? Where to start? Im thinking I’ll need some javascript but Im not sure. Please help me out here folks.
