Hi all,
This is probably a very easy question for some of you, being a novice on flash however I do not get how to do this. I have been handed a flash movie that is 12801024 pixels big. This swf is supposed to go inside a regular web page in HTML. This is obviously not a problem; the flash film shows up nice. The problem is however that inside the flash movie (at the center of the movie) there is a square containing the menu and the essential parts of the film. This square is about 800500 pixels large. Surrounding this square is some patterns just for looks. When I resize the browser window, I would like the center square to remain the same size, while the rest of the flash movie gets smaller. How do I achieve this?

This is possible in frames in HTML (having the left and right frames relative and the middle frame absolute, or with a letterbox frameset). However, in my case, the entire flash movie (that I can’t get the .fla to) is 1280*1024 and I cannot split it up in some way. Thus, when I resize the browser window, everything becomes smaller…
