Scaling / Rotating Images at Author-Time

Hello!

I’m sure that this has been addressed somewhere before but I can’t seem to get Google to return anything useful…

I have noticed that scaling or rotating images using tweens (or rather, Graphic objects that contain bitmaps using tweens ;)) causes noticeable “jaggies.”

I have heard that this is because they are being scaled and rotated at run-time. Is there any way to aleviate this? It seems somewhat absurd that Flash would be unable to scale and rotate images without any kind of anti-aliasing whatsoever…

Thoughts?
