Scroll on a movie loaded

Hi,

could someone tell me if it can be done to have a situation as follows :

In movie 1, there is an area reserved for content loaded from other swf movies. This area has an aproximate height of 200 pixels. Now, if the movie that is loaded is actually bigger than this given height, can I use a scroll bar component to have this movie scrolled?

If this can be done, could someone point me in the right direction to where I can find a general answer to this technic?

If I’m not mistaken the scrollbar component is used to scroll textboxes so I don’t think it would be able to scroll a movieclip that will hold other swf movies.

What I could suggest you do is create buttons that will scroll a movieclip and I have an example FLA file for you to look at.

I hope it will give you some ideas. =)

Could a scrollPane do the same thing?

I did check out your example and I thnk it could work. I will look at it a lot closer.

A scrollpane will scroll images, I’m not sure about scrolling a movieclip. I don’t use components so I honestly have no idea.
