I was wondering if anyone knew of a way that you could scroll text by moving your mouse up and down the text?

Probably. Im pretty much a little noob, but if you look at the http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm xml photogallery tutorial it uses things that constrain the srollers and things using boundries. Someone more knowlageable can probably help you more, but that might point you in the right direction
