I’m trying to create a vertical banner that is continously scrolling logos that are linked to sponsor page. I’m very new to AS3, in fact I don’t even know where to put the url…can’t even find the substitute for AS2’s getURL feature. To break it down:
-How do I make images loop continously, with out white space on the ad, or that little “jump”. Do I overlap all the images instead of duplicating just the first 7?
-I did the tutorial on movement in AS3, could this be applied here, to simplify everything? If yes where do I even begin!?
-How do I link my logos to the sites in AS3 or should I just stick to AS2
if you give me an example of the code, can you use the actual url, so I can see where it goes and I’m not trying to guess which text to replace, as I will probably have to do this for all the logos(ex: button-alaska.gif, url-http://www.alaskaseafood.org/, _blank).
