I’m attempting to use this scrubber to control an animation I’m currently working on:

Unfortunately the scrubber currently only works when published in Flash 6 format, and my animation is built in Flash 9 - with some features only available in Flash 9 (not actionscript related).
Seems this scrubber has been around for a while, with multiple versions so I was wondering if anyone knew of a newer one?
Or can anyone help me fiddle around with the code to make it work in Flash 9?
