I’m a graphics/Flash guy venturing into the flash/xml realm so I’m a bit novice but here’s my dilima. I’m creating a little flash box that searches an xml file and returns the results in a text box and it’s based on Kirupa’s cool little Searching xml example (http://www.kirupa.com/web/xml/examples/searchbestof.htm). I’ve got it working pretty close to what it needs to do but I don’t need it to to have the search selected elements via the check boxes feature. That’s not necessarily easily removed I’ve found. Tried eliminating references to it in the actionscript without disturbing the rest but that sisn’t work. I just need the simple straight forward ability to seach all levels of the xml file without the checkbox options. Any ideas or is there a similar more simple example out the that does this?
