Search function within a compiled flash movie

Hello there

Im creating an interactive CD-ROM for companies Directory lIsting (like yellow pages)

what i want to ask is how do you search for a keyword e.g: i type Automotive in the search field, then it will search n list all the Automotive vendors within the CD-ROM.

What is the best way around it to create such a thing in a CD. i know Director can do that, but i also have some confidence that Flash should be able too. anyone have a sample to my question here? I have tried to do a search (telephone book) but that is only for a single phrase. What if someone type a long sentence like “Automotive Dealers” then it will capture each n every word too…

I’d assume xml, search xml, print out results

Hello there

Dont get me wrong here, im not here to ask ppl to do my job, im just seeking for answers on how i can solve that problem here with all the panel of experts in flash. Can we read MS Access instead of XML?
