I am just now getting back into programming in actionscript. I haven’t used it since 2.0. I was wondering if there is a set of code that allows to search for a specific folder and go through its contents and populating the name. My question isnt very clear, but here is an example:
I am constructing an mp3 player. I have a separate set aside where all the songs will be. I want to be able to direct the search to the folder where the folders are: Artist>Album>Songs. i want to be able to take the folder name or file name and use it to populate a dynamic text field.
