Build/Extend the Flash-based Ivy™ Framework
• Re-skin and improve our Ivy™ Framework components
• Build custom, modular components for reuse in multiple applications
• Design, implement and document code
• Participate in discussions with team on product enhancements and solutions
• Report progress to Lead Interactive developer
Job Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Flash, ActionScript 2.0/3.0,
• Ability to develop clean, well-documented, object-oriented Flash applications
• Experience with vector and bitmap applications like Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with client-side communication with backend Web Services, Flash Remoting, XML
• Experience with Flash Video, Macromedia Flex & Flash Comm a plus
• Practitioner of professional software development processes, including specification definition, task
estimation, test plan development, and documentation
• Strong portfolio of applications demonstrating large-scale/enterprise usage of Flash and significant
code re-use
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of server interactions (socket, remoting, FCS/FMS)
• Strong working knowledge of actionscripting
• Detail oriented with the ability to function in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• Flash/JavaScript interactions
• Eclipse IDE
Other Requirements
• Knowledge of Source control software and procedures
• Willing to learn/adapt to new tools and technologies
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed or requested to meet project deadlines.
• Must have a successful employment history with other current and past employers.
• Ability to consult with team members to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program
objectives.
Experience:
• 2-3 Years Flash development experience with emphasis on design pattern principles
