I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right forum, because I don’t know what program I’ll end up doing this in (might be a Flash issue?)…anyway, I’m designing a site for my band, and I want to achieve the following effect: When the page loads, I want to have a curvy/swirly shape appear to draw itself onto the page. Normally I would think that maybe I could do this in Flash by having a similar shape mask it and move along the shape to reveal it over the course of about a second and a half. The problem is, the background is a kind of burnt paper/parchment, and I have no idea how I would be able to make the masking look right with the multi-colored background. Any help would be appreciated.
