SCADs got a call for entries to submit self-portraits for their 25th Anniversary Gallery Showing. This is my initial study, done in Illustrator and modified through Photoshop (background). The plan is to TRY and use this to help me actually paint such a picture. Though, to be honest, my painting skills aren’t very good.
Worse comes to worse, I’ll print this out nicely at Kinko’s, use adhesive to put it on the 10x10 canvas, and then embellish it to make a mixed media piece.
