Sending variable value in asp from flash without using database

I am trying to send variable value from flash movie clip to an asp page, but it is not sending, the asp code is ok, becuase whenever I am sending any constant value manually, it is getting stored in asp using getURL command in flash. But loadvariableNum is not working. Is there any other proper way, please tell me.
