Blue Fang Games is an independent game developer focused on applying proven game design and development principles to the new social, online and mobile game platforms. BFG is looking for a talented senior artist with experience in games and expertise using Flash. This artist is responsible for the rapid creation of quality concept art and assets created natively in Flash. This person should have a demonstrably strong grasp of aesthetic fundamentals and be a general flash wizard.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with designers, project directors and respond swiftly to direction from the Art Director
• Actively participate in the game development process, engaging the team, and resolving art issues wherever applicable
• Work directly with talented designers, artists, and production to ensure the smooth development of quality artwork
Qualifications
• Demonstrable proficiency using Flash Professional CS4
• Demonstrable portfolio and focus on Flash work
• Solid time estimation and management, communication skills and the ability to execute on direction
