hi! this is my 1st post. please bear with me. i just downloaded mysql. i had the anonymous user deleted but when i tried to set my root password i got this error:
‘Access denied for user: ‘root@localhost’ <Using password: NO>’
this is what i type at cmd:
c:\mysql\bin -u root password your_mikayla02
c:\mysql\bin -u root -h your_host_name password your_mikayla02
please kindly help me on this guyz.
