Ok I’ve been asked by a client to create some shockwave movies, but since I’ve never worked with Director before then I was wondering it it’s possible to create them in flash mx. If it is possible then how would I go about saving it to that format?
The new Director MX can output to Flash, and if I am wrong, I know for a fact that they are well integrated and that you could probably figure out some way to do it 
As far as a way without Director, i don’t think so, without some type of plugin. Even then, chances would be that it isn’t free.
That’s what I was afraid of hearing, looks like if I want to get paid for this project then I will have to load up Director. Thanks for replying though, I’m really surprised that only 1 person knew the answer. :-\

How would I do that Eberth? Just import a swf from Flash to Director?
yep, you can do the full presentation on flash, and then, save the swf, then in director, you just import it, center it and you can add a background border and some nice mouse effects and transitions and you’re done
