I’m not fussed what trainers I wear really. My current ones were about 20 quid each from Faith, and they’ve lasted me ages. Just black with a bit of silver and white on them.
And then I got a blue pair, in case I’m not wearing a black outfit, because otherwise I’d look silly.
Then I got a matching pair only in black and camel, to go with my combats…

Yep, they are mike. I own 3 pairs :love: And that is 100% not like me, you usually see me wearing shoes from like 5 years ago, but I am sure I will have these shoes for about that long.

I had my last pair for just over 2 years, but they got destroyed because I used them for trekkin on rugged terrain as well.
I sold very expensive shoes (so did abzoid) for a number of years. Our least expensive shoe was $180.00 (1992 price), for a cloth casual shoe…
I now have to pay retail for shoes… aaaaaaargh…
So I buy the most comfortable shoe I have ever found:
ECCO - Gortex lined (my feet don’t ever get wet) cork filled leather ortho liner (forms to my foot like an expensive orthotic arch support), super durable lug sole (lasts me over 2 years of City Walking)…
of course they cost over $200/pr (2001 price) …
