Simple Key Framer Flash Component

An idea for a “simple key framer” in Macromedia Flash that would streamline key framing an animation to an audio track.

The project file is here:

Simple key framer:

Reference the “old way” scene in the Fla.

What’s the problem?

A. The property inspector only allows you to “enter numbers” to manipulate a graphic symbol

In my scenario this is a major waste of time when you have lots of poses and characters to key frame to an audio track.

> Your required to memorize numbers that correspond to poses

> Key in numbers over and over to look for the “right pose”

Reference the "new way" scene in the Fla.

Task 1:"Frame Forward/Back"
By typing the frame number or clicking the forward back buttons

I would imagine you would set a key frame click "Frame Forward/Back" to reach the desired frame or type in the number by hand

if you wish. This step would be done for each pose change.

Reference the “new way” scene in the Fla.

Step 2 is not required, but would very nice to have…
I would be happy with Step 1 only.

Task 2:“Jump To A Set”
By selecting the set you would like from the drop down

I would imagine you would have to input this by hand in an array or adding values to the component

// WHY starts on frame 39

// POINT starts on frame 47

and so on…

Requirements/Requests:

The only requirements would be:

> Flash MX compatible

> Ability to preview in the time line with audio (e.g. a graphic symbol rather than a movie clip)

> ability to use on any graphic symbol

If you can complete this task please let me know how much you would charge. Or how many hours it would take for you to complete and your pay rate.

If you have a better idea or another approach I’m willing to listen.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need clarification.

Thanks for your time.
