Simple, yet baffling question

it’s been a while since i’ve used flash and i’m a little rusty so bare with me.

i am making a rollover button that animates when first loaded and also animates on mouseover so i converted it to a button from a graphic and then i converted the ‘over’ action to a movie clip and made a small little animation, but i noticed when i played the whole thing, the image makes a quick detour to the side and then quickly goes back on track in the animation when first loaded (not on the mouseover animation), which is not supposed to happen…

i’ve had this problem before, and i was able to fix it, but i forgot what i did. any ideas anyone?

ahhh! nevermind, i figured it out. sorry for a waste of a thread. the problem was i was converting the image to a button after the motion tween was added when i should have been doing it before i added the motion tween.
