I followed the slider menu tutorial - http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/menu_with_slider.htm - which works great when buttons are in the same position on every page.
I’m working on a site where the background images either take up the left or right side of the screen and the content for the site covers the middle - out to the left or out to the right of the page. So on some pages, the nav buttons would either be more to the right or more to the left.
Using the slider menu, what’s happening is, you’d click on the a button, it takes you to the page, but then the slider would be in the wrong position. What I’d like to happen is that the slider would be positioned under the page label that the person has clicked through to.
I tried doing it as a movie clip, but then everything has to be unified.
Any suggestions??? More importantly, hope I’m making sense.
