Slideshow tutorials

I want to add a slide show to this project i’m working on. I really can’t find tutorials that help me do what i’m trying to accomplish. I have four categories and each have about tweenty images, that i want to load dynamically. I want to to give the user the option of watching the images in a slide show or click through them, alos give them the ability of changing there mind in the viewing preference, If anyone could help that would be grate.
