I’m making this dressup doll in Flash currently. This is my second time making one, so I’m trying some new things… Like changing the skin color of my base. But I wasn’t sure how I could do that, since I also want other variables in the doll (eye color, hairstyle, etc)
So, I was just looking at one of the wonderful Flash MX tutorials here, and I found this…

Which seemed great! I could have a slider bar that would change the opacity of a graphic which could be, perhaps, a different skin color for my base.
But the tutorial only says how to add a text box that will tell the value of the slider position, nothing else. So I’m confused.
How could I use this to change variables like Alpha, Tint, etc?
