OK, y’all. I’m about to pull my teeth out with a pair of rusty pliers. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much trouble in Flash before. Anyway… enough of my whining. Here’s the situation…
I have sliding menus. They are movieclip with a rollover state on the back panel. You can view it at: http://www.tsneville.com
Now… the problem is that when I place submenus in this movieclip, whether it is a button or text with a link, it acts as a RollOut of the movieclip. What’s up with that? I’ve tried the getBounds method, but it’s just not smooth or fast enough. Just wondering if anyone has ANY suggestions?
