[ smudge ]

As everyone may have noticed, the beta release of Flash Player 10, is out now. One of the new features I´ve expected mostly, is the ability to write your own shaders in Pixel Bender[URL=“http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Pixel_Bender_Toolkit”] and bind ´em in flash (as .pbj-File).

Smudge” is my first attempt to write a shader[URL=“http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Pixel_Bender_Toolkit”]. It´s a simple pattern smoother that iterates over an image and bends every pixel thereby. After all flash delivers a parameter back into the shader on every frame, so we get a little animated [URL=“http://www.dasprinzip.com/pExamples/p56.html”]smoothed smudge.

Nice work its a little jumpy at times but nice. Yea flash player 10 is fun to mess with.

That’s pretty cool! I haven’t even tried playing with Pixel Bender, yet… so much to do, so little time…
