I am making a snooker game in mx 2004 and due to there being 22 balls and each ball having to check collision with every other ball there are a lot of collision detections. this is very cpu intensive and also slows down the game loads. i speeded it up by making it so only if the ball is moving check if it collides with any other ball. if only a few balls are moving then the game runs fine, but if a lot are moving then the ball movement gets much slower. can anyone think of a way to stop this?
