Hi, I am trying to get the snowflake v2 to work for me, Im sitting on a mac g3 with flash mx 2004. I have redone the tutorial 3 times now and I keep on getting this error message.
This is the first time Im using mx 2004, I have previously only worked in flash 5 so Im a bit rusty…
Error Symbol=snow_mc, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 3: Syntax error.
** duplicateMovieClip(snow, “snow”+k, k);
Error Symbol=snow_mc, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 4: ‘)’ expected
** k++;
Total ActionScript Errors: 2 Reported Errors: 2
What is that all about? I have done exactly what was written in the tutorial. Also I did the first version and it worked almost fine, up to the snowflakes moving sideways like if caught by wind… that didnt work…
Is it a mac issue or something else? Would really want to know.
